About us

who we are

Hi,we are Marzia and  Alex

We love nature and all animals. 9 years ago we started our  search for a teckel, and to our surprise and delight, found Casper.

All of his brothers and sisters were really cute, but there  was one who stood

out because of his bubbly character. One day, during one of  our many walks

Casper started barking after smelling the trail of some animal.

A hunter, who was passing, explained what Casper was doing.  This is how

my husband discovered his passion, with the help of the Palladini  family, who

are renowned breeders.

Through them we started to enroll in hunting competitions,  with great success,

thanks to Casper’s fine tuned sense of smell.

But Casper was lonely and my husband wanted to offer Casper a  companion.

The day before Christmas Cannella Della Val Vezzeno joined our  family, as

always through Mr. Palladini’s recommendation.

Cannella is so different from Casper, very shy, reserved, but  giving so much

affection. In other words: A real girl!!! She never wanted to be  alone.

Casper had finally found his partner. They look simply great  together, and

more often then not people stop us during our walks, wanting to  know more

about this fascinating breed, and about their character. Everyone we  meet

congratulates us on how beautiful they are, which makes us very proud.

Today, Cannella has been pregnant several times. For us this  experience has

been a real gift, not in the least of how amusing it is taking  all these little

puppies on their first group walk, where they are usually all  over the place!

After reading all of this you will not be surprised when we  tell you that we

fell in love with one of the puppies, named Gaston. He is just  the sweetest and

has enriched our experience when he became part of our teckel  family, with

whom we travel all around Europe.

This year, Casper has celebrated his 9th birthday  and has become world

champion in the veteran league. This was an indescribable  moment for us,

which moved us to tears.

I hope that all of our puppies have found a family like ours,  who let them run

free in nature, who love and respect them.

The teckel is a very loyal and intelligent animal, who  carries with it the name

of a little dog, but has a big  character.
